Neymar May Miss World Cup

Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar is facing a race against time for the World Cup after being ruled out for three months by the club’s doctor on Thursday.
The 26-year-old arrived in Rio de Janeiro ahead of an operation on his fractured foot, sustained in the weekend Ligue 1 victory over Marseille.
The injury will keep him out of the Champions League second-leg tie against Real Madrid at the Parc des Princes on 6 March but is set to be side-lined for much longer.
Doctor Rodrigo Lasmar arrived with Neymar and said: “The recovery time is expected to be around two and a half to three months.”
Neymar joined PSG from Barcelona in a world record €222m transfer fee.
Brazil's first World Cup game in Russia is on June 17 against Switzerland and if Neymar will be out of action for a long as three months, it is yet to be see how fit he would be for the group opener.
