Eternity Gate Keeper (Mummy GO)

Video clips and memes of a particular preacher nicknamed "mummy GO" have filled the internet space lately, telling people what to do and what not to do in order to inherit life eternal or condemnation in hell fire.

For some time now it looked as if preachers like this went into extinction because there was a time when what was trending was messages from people who had visits to heaven and hell fire until when one of their heroes "Sister Linda" came up with another confession that all she said were lies; confession made in what I'll call "a boastful and unrepentant font". Something she had to do under severe compulsion.

The only truth in all these messages of these "eternity gate keepers" is that after this life there is a place of rest and reward referred to as "HEAVEN" and a place of punishment and condemnation referred to as "HELL FIRE"! Rev 21:8, 22:14-15; Lk 16:19-31. After that, all they peddle are lies and instead of directing the minds of people to the truth, they distract them from the things that really matter, "The weightier matters of the law"! Matt 23:23. They present themselves as people working for God, but deep down in their hearts they know who they are working for - their master the devil. Rather than preach "Truth", they preach what they preach so that people can go on chasing shadows while being yoked to the real sin and in the process of this, the end will come on them and they miss eternal life! Working for Satan, sending souls to hell.

I know a lady after listening to the message of one of these eternity gate keepers or rather, "eternity distractors" told me that she give up on heavenly race because she knows she can't make it, so no need of trying and failing and denying herself the pleasures of life and still miss "Heaven" on the last day. So she rather enjoy her life to the fullest here on earth and prepare herself for eternal damnation.

My Propietor's wife in the school I did my one year Industrial Training teaching Mathematics and practical Physics had to barb entirely her permed hair after listening to the message of one of them because she does not want to go to "Hell fire"; but was mobilizing teachers who will go to WAEC hall and help students with examination malpractice AKA Chokes or Mbgo. I rejected the offer of going to "Help" the students in the examination hall with my own permed hair 🤣🤣, because I've given the students the best help I could give during WAEC preparations. I went out of my way to get some materials at my own expense and satisfied my conscience that I did my part well 😃. Perming is sin and can take you to hell fire but examination malpractice is not; ok o, kwontinu!!

After all that have been said; what is sin and what is not sin?

No particular dress pattern is sin; what is sin is lust and seduction!

No particular food is sin; what is sin is gluttony!

No particular hairstyle is sin; what is sin stealing, the spirit of competition, lust and the likes!

Acquiring wealth is not sinful; what is sinful is greed, wickedness and covetousness!

Lastly you don't need a list to guide you into what is sin and can lead you to hell, and what is not. All you need is a sincere and genuine desire for God. Seek God for yourself; pray and read the Bible to understand the mind of God. It's not rocket science, it's practical! Begin it today and you'll be surprised at what God will open your mind to.

My take on the Busola Dakolo saga

Since the Busola Dakolo rape allegation saga went viral I have decided to keep quite and watch as the event of things turn out to be but felt compelled in my heart recently to write this.

Rape is evil; apart from the fact that sexual immorality is a sin before our maker, I would say that rape is a bigger sin even though all sins are sins before the Lord! I say rape is a greater sin because it is wickedness against the weaker party; it is better one consciously does a thing whether good or bad rather than being forced to do it outside their will!

Since the emergence of this issue, many other women have been coming out with their own rape incidences; they did not find the boldness to express themselves before because they felt intimidated by the person who has meted out this wickedness against them. I have read other rape stories I have felt the agony these young women faced expressed in their stories! Whether it happened recently or donkey years ago the fact remains that they lived and have been living with this pains and agonies!

Some were raped by their fathers and their mothers helped cover it up, some raped by people they looked up to as spiritual father, some raped by neighbors but could not tell their parents because of fear, and many other stories.

Having seen all these and have given a careful though to this I have come to conclude that Busola Dakolo was not raped! Do we shout at the word "Rape" and bring out the accused to kill them because we are hurt by other experiences? Don't we give though to the story line of the rape incidence?

In her story there was no element of force nor resistance! You might say she was just a 16yr old and might be too young to resist but I bet to disagree. At 16yrs I was already writing my WAEC examinations and at that age I was fully aware of my decisions and all I chose to do. A young girl at that age can be easily deceived into sex but not forced!

Before you crucify Fatoyibo on the sound of "RAPE" please let's go to the scriptures:

Deuteronomy 22:23-26 KJV
If a damsel that is a virgin be betrothed unto an husband, and a man find her in the city, and lie with her; [24] Then ye shall bring them both out unto the gate of that city, and ye shall stone them with stones that they die; the damsel, because she cried not, being in the city; and the man, because he hath humbled his neighbour's wife: so thou shalt put away evil from among you. [25] But if a man find a betrothed damsel in the field, and the man force her, and lie with her: then the man only that lay with her shall die: [26] But unto the damsel thou shalt do nothing; there is in the damsel no sin worthy of death: for as when a man riseth against his neighbour, and slayeth him, even so is this matter:

If Fatoyibo deserves to die then so does Busola!

Why this allegation of rape?

Busola wants to present Fatoyibo as an evil man and exonerate herself; presenting herself as a victim and Fatoyinbo as the predator, but according to the Bible "our guide", she has no moral right to point a finger at the man on the account of rape!

There are cases where young girls have been cajoled into sex and disappointed in a relationship then turn back and call it rape! Heart break is not the same as rape! There are times a girl will be loving a guy and all the guy wants from her is sex; when she finally gives it to him, he immediately dumps her and leaves her heartbroken, that is a different matter, it is not rape!

Apart form the fact that there was no element of force or refusal in the rape incidence, it happened again! Even the second time, no pressure! What kept you around a man you're supposed to be hating for raping you, a man that forcefully took away your virginity "according to you" that it happened again? Of all the cases of rape I have heard, I have not heard of such easy ones; victims of such stories are victims of heartbreak not rape!

Why will I never speak against Fatoyibo?

There are a thousand and one possibilities that Busola had a sexual relationship with the pastor. Why Busola was hanging out with the married pastor I can't tell. Was she in love with him? Probably yes! Was she expecting him to send out his wife and marry her? Maybe not; but she liked him anyway and could not help it. I know how hurtful it will be for her to just move on with her life and forget about the married pastor seeing that he was her first love! Their destinies can never meet seeing that he was a married man!

If probably my assertions above are true, am I now supporting the man of God for toiling with the heart of the innocent little girl? Not at all! Sexual immorality is a sin and as a man who is supposed to be a custodian of morality by his placement in the Christian faith, he has not done well and is on this ground that I may agree with Nathaniel Bassey that God is sanitizing His church!

But who am I or Nathaniel Bassey to conclude on a matter that happened about 20yrs ago? You can be correct about a person but might not be current! He might have settled it with His caller and left that way of life; that's why we must be careful when consenting to cooperate sin! The chief conspirator can leave at any moment and reconcile with his/her maker while we have already been deceived into sin and might even loose our soul in hell! God forbid! Even though there's a popular believe that the blood of the deceived will be required from the hands of the deceiver but the deceived has already been deceived and might loose their soul and the deceiver is already on their way to eternal rest because they made peace with their maker and sincerely repented of and turned from their sins!

I see this as an unrestituted past mistake coming to hunt a man! As for Busola Dakolo, SHE WAS NOT RAPED! Her story line is not a story of rape! Even the Nollywood will not sell that story line when acting about the issue of rape!

Permit me to make another assertion!

Timi Dakolo never knew his wife ever had any relationship with the pastor before; he just got to find out recently! The thing hurt him (it's common, every man feels the same when they hear stories about their wife's exs), he couldn't take it that his wife had a relationship with the pastor then decided to extort the man and blackmail his wife into agreeing to do the interview as the only way he'll forgive her for hiding such thing from him all this while! That's why sometimes it's good to tell your betrothed of your past life and relationships, if he's still interested in you fine, if not, fine; at least you save yourself stress of him getting to find out about anything in future. Some people disagree with this; they say let the past be in the past! Well, that's a topic for another day.

We all keep our fingers crossed and our prayers going on for God to intervene in this matter and save the body of Christ this shame and embarrassment!

Pray for Pastor Fatoyinbo
Pray for Busola Dakolo

DON'T BE TOO QUICK TO MALIGN TIWA SAVAGE'S HUSBAND

After reading Tiwa Savage's husband's posts on Instagram this morning and the comments that came following, I was tempted to join the crowd in condemning his write ups but on a second thought I felt he is not completely to be blamed - something prompted those reactions of his whether you say they are severe or not. From the recent happening in Teebillz's home I draw this argument and I felt it necessary to share it with the whole world.

My argument might not make sense to you but I draw some backings from God's holy word! Please permit me to also use this medium to this medium to talk to Women both the married and unmarried ones, who desire to be called "Mrs".

The worst thing that will ever happen to a marriage is when a wife outshines her husband. Everyone must not get married so far you can stay without defiling your self. If you think you are too talented and inspirational and spirited and anointed and blessed and etc, then you must not marry, you can stay single and build your life. You will still go to heaven if you please God and your reward might even be bigger than some men. But the moment you begin to desire marriage, this is what you are saying "I want to lay down my life and make this man become what so ever he must become", "I give up every of my ambition and my ambition now is this man's mission". It might be too extreme to say a married woman has no life of her own - her life is her husband's life; but that is what it is. God did not make the man for the woman rather the woman was made for the man 1Cor 11:8-9. Therefore, if a wife has lost her savor she becomes like a tasteless good-for-nothing salt which will be casted out on the street and people will trample on it!

The first ministry of every wife is the ministry of "help" Gen 2:18-25. If you desire marriage, you desire a life you must help. That is why it is erroneous to marry a man you can not help. A man you can not help is a man whose passion is different from yours therefore you can't help his destiny. You want to pursue your own passion thereby having multiple visions in the house which is di-vision and thus causing division. Any shining of a wife that is not bringing glory to her husband is a rubbish shining and that marriage will soon collapse. The Bible says one will chase a thousand and two will chase ten thousand but how can two chase ten thousand if they are not doing the chase together and in the same direction?

I weep when I hear unmarried ladies say they want to marry a man who will help them; some say they want to marry a man that will help them become great. I even hear some unmarried female music ministers say they want to marry a man who will make them shine! It's unfortunate that sometimes a man about to get married is asked how he can help his wife bring out the best in her, rather than asking him how he can harness her qualities and in what way can she be of help to his destiny, or rather, how does he intend to involve her in his life and destiny? Until you have learnt that the focus is not you but your husband and his glory you are not ready for marriage, untill you desire a man you can use your talent and gifts to help you are not a wife material.

Submission is when you have learnt to change the "me" "me" "me" to "you" "you" "you". Sub-mission is a mission under another mission! Wives are called to submit Eph 5:22-24, Col 3:18. Let people address you as "That great man's wife", and not to address your husband as the husband of that superstar. Today Teebillz is known as "Tiwa's husband", her fame is so striking more that his, she is seen not him, she is appreciated and her fans love her, she is a superstar and taking her carrier to greater heights is what is on her mind, and the whole world is expecting the man to be cool with it. She has more money and pays his bills, is this not turning things the way it should be up-side-down? I can feel his pains, i feel him asking, " where is the wife i married?" "I want my wife not this nonsense fame or wealth". Going from one show to the other without her husband, do you think this is going down well with the man psychologically? The next person that will cry out is popular bread seller turn model Olajumoke's husband, if she do not handle her fame responsibly.

Please don't get me wrong, I'm not saying wives are slaves or rags that should remain at the back door, i don't mean men alone should shine and their wives should be hidden under dark shadows, I'm trying to say the work of wives is the fame, greatness, wealth and destiny of their husbands. Any woman that can achieve this is a successful wife and nothing can hide the fame of a successful wife. Imagine your husband reaches the height he wants to reach and the both of you know that your input into his life is more than 90%, what a great woman you are. Running after and achieving your dreams is a shadow comparing to running after and achieving your husband's dreams.

To wives: From today, stop dreaming, ask your husband his dreams. If you must dream, let your dreams be how to expound on his dreams. Pray hard that your husband don't stop dreaming.
To single ladies desiring marriage: Make sure the man you say yes to is that man whose dreams are what you dream so that you can easily fit into him. Make sure you understand the dreams and visions of the man you say yes to. When you pray for a man, pray that God will give you a man you can help!

NB: A man begins to die and will not go far when he thinks the duty of a wife is to keep the house alone and refuses to harness her talents and gifts. It is like a man who thinks mortar is for sitting down alone not knowing he can pound with it and have been using his teeth all these while to grind all his food!

Please also note that a successful marriage is not a miracle but the result of conscious efforts and selfless sacrifices put into the marriage by both husband and wife!
