3 Aid Workers Killed In Militant Attack in Maiduguri

You remember Rann?
It was the town in the northeastern city of Maiduguri where the Nigerian Air Force mistakenly killed about 52 persons in a refugee camp January last year.
It is in the news again for a wrong reason. The United Nations has confirmed on Friday that at least three aid workers have been killed in Rann during an attack by militants on a military facility.
A United Nations spokeswoman said on Friday that a fourth aid worker may also have been killed and another was feared abducted.
A separate UN source said the attack was likely to have been carried out by jihadist group Boko Haram.
All the aid workers were Nigerian nationals, the spokeswoman said.
More details soon….
