Presidency Cancels This Week's FEC

THE Presidency Monday, announced that there will not be Federal Executive Council, FEC, meeting this week as President Muhammadu Buhari will be attending a high level international conference holding in Abuja.
A two-paragraph statement signed by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Chief Femi Adesina in Abuja read thus: “The meeting of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) will not hold on Wednesday, February 28, 2018.
“This is due to the participation of President Muhammadu Buhari and a significant number of ministers at the High-Level Meeting of the International Conference on Lake Chad Basin, at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja, for the better part of that day.”
FEC holds on Wednesday every week and it is presided over by the President or the Vice President when the President is not around or indisposed.
